Surely fairy tales don’t happen in real life?
After being jilted at the altar, high-flying journalist Sam doesn’t believe in love any more – and she certainly doesn’t believe in fairy tales! So, when she’s asked to cover the Royal Wedding, it’s the last thing she wants to do.
And when she crashes into a ridiculously handsome stranger, Fredrik, later that day, things are going from bad to worse. But as the big day draws closer, Sam finds herself being swept up in the excitement – as well as swept off her feet by Fredrik!
But there’s something that Fredrik’s hiding from her – and when he finally reveals his secret, might Sam just have the happy-ever-after she never thought she wanted…?
Thank you to the author and Rachel’s Random Resources for providing me with a free copy in exchange for an honest review.
This is another really great funny light read and was exactly what I was hoping it to be going into the book. Sam is not a fan of love at this particular time but it’s all about to change once she meets Fredrik. This was definitely a bit of an over the top sort of story but it was easy to read, had lot’s of laugh out loud moments and had all those sickly sweet moments that you would want in a chick lit. I really enjoyed being able to get lost in the fairy-tale of it!
Would I read again: Maybe not
Would I Recommend: Yes
Would I read another book from this author: Yes
