Thank you to the author and Rachels Random Resources for providing me with a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

This was a really thought-provoking story, told throughout three different stages of Leila’s life, we get to follow her through her many decisions and challenges as she tries to become the person she wants to be. Leila was an interesting character for me because there were quite a few times I just didn’t really like her. However it didn’t put me off the book or her story at all, it just made me want her to do better, which was a great reason to carry on reading and find out how her story ended. I also really liked that it was told throughout different time periods of her life as sometimes in stories there is just not enough time for characters to actually fully develop and grow. It was also great to see her daughter Sophie grow and mature as well. A very intriguing four and a half star read.
