This is a book where I was really interested by the synopsis but, to be honest, wasn’t totally sure based on the title. I am really glad that I gave it go however as this was genuinely funny, laugh out loud sort of book with a whole lot of character and a really compelling storyline. I loved getting to know Ruth and her relationship with Nick as well as just seeing pretty much all her interactions with Dee. This was also a story where places and certain parts just really stuck out which I think is hard to achieve in any story. This is definitely an author I will be on the lookout for.
